Lynk Global in Manila is seeking a skilled Project Cost Controller to support Australian civil construction projects. The role collaborates with Project Managers and the AU team to monitor budgets, track costs, and provide clear financial reporting on each project.

The successful candidate will have BOQ expertise, strong cost-control capabilities, and proficient Excel/data analysis skills. Office-based setup in BGC Taguig with close AU team interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in project costing, job costing, cost control or commercial project support.
• Experience within civil construction, engineering or subdivision projects.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, project budgets and cost reporting.
• Experience monitoring costs across multiple active projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor actual project costs against budgets, BOQs and forecasts.
• Track labour, materials, subcontractor, plant and equipment costs.
• Prepare regular project cost reports and identify budget variances.
• Maintain cost-to-complete forecasts for multiple subdivision projects.
• Report on committed, actual and forecast costs.
• Review purchase orders, supplier invoices and subcontractor claims.
• Track project variations, progress claims and accruals.
• Assist with project budgeting and forecast updates.
• Support month-end reporting and work-in-progress calculations.

Project Cost Controller - Civil Construction (AU)

Work Setup: Fully office based

Schedule: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Cost Controller to support an Australian civil construction company delivering subdivision and infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with Project Managers and the Accounts team to monitor project budgets, track actual costs and provide clear reporting on the financial position of each project. The client currently has 5 team members in our BGC office which you will work closely with and report into the AU team remotely.

This role requires a strong understanding of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), project budgets, cost codes and cost-to-complete reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor actual project costs against budgets, BOQs and forecasts.
• Track labour, materials, subcontractor, plant and equipment costs.
• Prepare regular project cost reports and identify budget variances.
• Maintain cost-to-complete forecasts for multiple subdivision projects.
• Report on committed, actual and forecast costs.
• Review purchase orders, supplier invoices and subcontractor claims.
• Track project variations, progress claims and accruals.
• Assist with project budgeting and forecast updates.
• Support month-end reporting and work-in-progress calculations.Maintain accurate project costing records and cost codes.
• Work closely with Project Managers to identify potential cost overruns.
• Provide clear reporting on where each project is tracking against budget.
