Job summary

Synpulse Philippines Inc. is seeking a results-driven PMO professional to join our banking and technology consulting team in Metro Manila. You will manage project methodology, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications to deliver client solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in banking, technology and/or consulting.
• Strong understanding of core business processes in private banking.
• Ability to apply technology principles to business and work with PMO processes.
• Experience with project methodology; scheduling and budget management.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, especially Agile.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong client interaction skills.
• Team player with leadership potential and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, data collection, analysis via interviews and workshops to formulate solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to the client using proposals and decks.
• Document projects into systems and processes for management review.
• Maintain close client interaction through updates and networking.
• Support team with other project activities.
• Ensure accurate planning and task ownership, align with charter and metrics.
• Provide integrative view across program aspects for better decisions.
• Support deliverables of the Support Project Team and IT Security Control Team.
• Support contract review and coordination.
• Support project resource allocation and invoicing preparation.
• Prepare monthly service reports; assist onboarding/offboarding of consultants.
• Assist IT system tracking and management; coordinate project charging.

ABOUT THE JOB

1. Conduct research, data collection, and analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshops to translate their requirements into well‑formulated solutions.
2. Present findings and recommendations to the client using business proposals and presentation decks.
3. Document the project into systems and processes for management review.
4. Maintain close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking.
5. Support team members with other project activities.
6. Ensure that the project is planned accurately, that the owner of each task is identified accurately, and that work is executed and aligned with the charter in order to meet the critical metrics and planned results.
7. Provide an integrative view and analysis of the various project aspects within the program to enable better decision‑making. Ensure that information is captured and disseminated to all stakeholders.
8. Support deliverables of the Support Project Team and IT Security Control Team.
9. Support contract review and coordination.
10. Support project resource allocation.
11. Prepare project STC slides, reporting, and project charging.
12. Support invoicing.
13. Support the onboarding and offboarding of consultants.
14. Support IT system tracking and management.
15. Prepare monthly service reports.

ABOUT YOU:

1. Degree holder
2. 4-7 years of experience in the banking, technology and/or consulting industry
3. Good understanding of core business processes and products in the private banking industry
4. Capable of applying technology principles to business
5. Experience working with project methodology and management, PMO processes (e.g. scheduling, budget management)
6. Understanding of software development lifecycles (we are particularly interested in Agile)
7. Can work with a team and connect with various levels – excellent communications skills are a must as you will deal with a range of characters, including very senior staff.
8. Experience working as a PMO in a software/IT/Fintech/ organization –an advantage.
9. A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
10. Excellent spoken and written English
11. Highly analytical and structured in problem‑solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
12. Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
13. Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
