Job summary

Holcim Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead planning, evaluation, and implementation of civil projects across the plant, ensuring reliability of maintenance structures, roads, and process water systems.

The role covers designing and redesigning structures, preparing cost estimates for CAPEX and non-CAPEX, contractor bids, and supervising from planning to commissioning while coordinating with maintenance and production teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Civil Engineering.
• Must be a Registered Civil Engineer.
• Three (3) years in civil project planning and execution and facility maintenance works in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Translate Plant Plans & Programs into Engineering Designs specifically for Civil structures in the Process & Non-Process areas in a safe and cost-effective ways
• Prepare required documents/contracts, evaluate bids and recommend preferred 3rd party contractors to the BIDCOM to attain project objectives at the optimum value to the company
• Redesign of existing structures and design of new buildings and infrastructures
• Prepare and justify cost in both CAPEX and Non-CAPEX
• Project planning, drafting, supervision of actual implementation up to commissioning and turn-over to maintenance and production departments
• Develop plans and programs for the maintenance of plant facilities and supervise implementation
• Supervise maintenance of plant structures and buildings
• Supervise maintenance of roadways including canals and siltation ponds
• Supervise maintenance of water supply for process and non-process facilities
• Conduct physical counts of bulk materials to audit stock levels and reconcile inventory data

About the role

Conduct project planning, evaluation, and lead implementation of projects, project inspection and control of all civil engineering related projects of the whole plant. Ensure reliability of plant maintenance structures, roads, including process water.
