Job summary

int transportation is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to implement, monitor, and evaluate OHS programs in accordance with DOLE standards. You will conduct daily inspections, identify hazards, and perform risk assessments across sites and equipment.

You will lead toolbox talks, safety orientations and ongoing awareness programs for workers and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety permits and JHAs. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a safety-related role (construction/manufacturing/industrial).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related technical field.
• Completed 40-hour DOLE COSH or BOSH training.
• Strong communication, coordination and report-writing skills.
• Demonstrated strong work ethics.
• Project-based employment.
• Willing to work six days per week.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and evaluate OHS programs in line with DOLE standards.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, hazard identifications and risk assessments.
• Facilitate toolbox meetings and safety orientations for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with DOLE standards, including safety permits and JHAs.
• Investigate accidents or near-misses and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to maintain a safe workplace.
