Job summary

Artifex Master Builder, Inc. seeks a proactive Project-in-Charge Architect to lead assigned construction projects and oversee day-to-day site activities in Metro Manila.

You will review drawings, supervise workmanship, coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, and ensure compliance with architectural plans, specifications, building codes, and company standards. A valid Philippine license and willingness to travel to project locations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in the Philippines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction project management, site supervision, or as a Project-in-Charge.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural plans, specifications, and building standards.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings.
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and capable of handling multiple project requirements and deadlines.
• Willing to conduct regular site visits and be assigned to different project locations as required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural/project management software is an advantage.
• Preferably with a valid driver’s license and able to drive.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project-in-Charge for assigned construction projects.
• Manage and monitor day-to-day site activities and project progress.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved architectural plans, specifications, building codes, and project standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, foremen, and other project team members.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material specifications, and site requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship and quality.
• Identify site issues and coordinate appropriate solutions with concerned teams.
• Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and construction milestones.
• Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and site resources.
• Attend project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and management.
• Prepare and submit project updates, accomplishment reports, and other required documentation.
• Ensure proper implementation of company procedures, quality standards, and site safety requirements.
• Assist in project turnover, punch listing, and completion of project documentation.
