Travel with the Grooves, Inc. (RIMOWA PH) is seeking a Project Architect to review architectural plans and designs, ensuring compliance with Brand Standards, building codes, and government regulations while maintaining functionality and aesthetics.

The role also involves preparing layouts for in-house projects as required. The position emphasizes strong technical design skills, collaboration with multiple business units, and the ability to translate concepts into practical, high-quality spaces.

Responsibilities

• Reviews the architectural design of the project from third party Contractors/Consultants to ensure consistency with Brand standards and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Checks the cost efficiency of the project design.
• Recommends construction materials based on project design requirements and budget.
• Consults with concerned business units to discuss and finalize the in-house project design.
• Researches various design components and materials as directed.
• Demonstrates general knowledge of building codes and the ability to identify and distinguish.
• Assists in streamlining the architectural design process from conceptual design through project completion.
• Monitors revision of plans and timeline changes as needed.
• Keeps documentation of design concerns during and after project completion.
• Reviews the billing statements of Contractors/Consultants.
• Addresses and assists with technical concerns, ideas, and suggestions when they arise.
• Ensures the implementation of agreed/approved plans and designs.

The Project Architect is primarily responsible for reviewing architectural plans and project designs to ensure compliance with the Brand Standards, applicable building codes, and government regulations while maintaining functionality, design quality, and aesthetic appeal. The role is also responsible for preparing architectural plans and layouts for in-house projects, as required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reviews the architectural design of the project – from third party Contractor/ Consultants – to be consistent with Brand standards and compliance to building codes and other government regulations.
2. Checks the cost efficiency of the project design.
3. Recommends construction materials that can be used based on project design requirements and budget.
4. Consults with concerned business units to discuss and finalize the in-house project design.
5. Research various design components and materials as directed
6. Demonstrate general knowledge of building codes and ability to identify and distinguish
7. Assist in the streamlining of architectural design process from conceptual design through overall completion of the project.

B. Project Coordination

1. Monitors revision of plan and changes in timeline, if needed.
2. Keeps documentation of the design concerns during and after project completion.
