Job purpose: This role provides crucial institutional coordination, administrative, governance, and secretariat support to the Programme Director within the Office of the Chief Minister. The primary objective is to facilitate the effective implementation of the EU4BARMM project by enhancing inter-agency coordination, supporting governance mechanisms, and monitoring progress. The position ensures coherent engagement and continuity in coordination efforts among diverse stakeholders, including government ministries, development partners, and implementing agencies. It directly contributes to the smooth day-to-day operations, documentation, and follow-through of inter-agency commitments, ultimately supporting the project's goals in peacebuilding and governance within the Bangsamoro region.
The Programme Management Support Associate will serve as a key coordination focal point between various government entities, development partners, and implementing agencies. Responsibilities include organizing and supporting inter-agency meetings, consultations, and workshops, and diligently monitoring agreed action points to ensure timely follow-through. The role involves assisting in the preparation of official correspondence and supporting the scheduling of high-level engagements. Additionally, the associate will provide comprehensive secretariat support to the Project Steering Committee and Technical Working Groups, including coordinating meeting logistics, preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and maintaining governance records. Support will also extend to tracking implementation milestones, coordinating planning meetings, and assisting the Programme Director in reviewing project documentation and reports.
A secondary school diploma with six years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field, combined with two years of relevant experience, is acceptable.
Required experience includes work in coordination, project support, or stakeholder engagement, preferably within government institutions, development partners, or international organizations. Desired experience involves supporting programme governance mechanisms, steering committees, or technical working groups, and prior work in BARMM or Mindanao-based programmes.
