Synergy Pilipinas seeks a Program Staff to translate national strategies into localized implementation plans, develop designs with focal organizations, provide technical advisory, and coordinate with partners to align actions with national initiatives.
The role also covers monitoring and reporting, maintaining national databases, preparing quarterly progress reports, and producing thematic knowledge products, with field work across Luzon.
Synergy Pilipinas is a cooperation platform of member-based and non-government organizations, and higher education institutions in North and South Luzon since 2018. Under the Adaptation to Climate Change through Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Agriculture Striving for Mitigation Co-Benefits Project supported by the Province of West Flanders in Belgium, it aims to build safe, sustainable, and resilient enterprises and communities.
For the 3rd and final phase (2026-2030), Synergy Pilipinas endeavors to advance the agenda of sustainable agri-preneurship, disaster and climate resilience, and women and youth inclusion by: a) Upscaling Sustainable Agricultural Enterprises; b) Strengthening Disaster and Climate Resiliency; and c) Building a Learning, Influential, and Inclusive Cooperation Platform
TheProgram Staff has the following tasks:
Translate national strategies into localized, actionable implementation plans.
Develop implementation designs in collaboration with focal organizations for priority initiatives and the Provincial Coordinators.
Provide technical advisory services and immediate feedback to stakeholders.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and popularize technical products to support learning and advocacy initiatives.
Coordinate with resource persons and organizations to align local actions with national initiatives.
Support regional and national activities and perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Coordinating Committee or Program Manager.
Conduct periodic monitoring of project initiatives to track results and investment performance.
Maintain and update the national database with accurate thematic data.
Prepare consolidated quarterly progress reports covering thematic results and resiliency fund investments.
Develop thematic knowledge products and periodic reports on enterprise and investment performance.
At least five years of experience in technical advisory on agriculture sustainability and resiliency projects, in collaboration with MBOs, CSOs, LGUs, government, higher education institutions, and private sector.
Graduate degree in relevant areas of the program focus such as Sustainable Development, Community Development, Public Administration and Governance, Development Management, Agricultural Economics, and or related field
Adept with MS Office, Google Workspace, Zoom and similar computing applications
Excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills, with demonstrated experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively within a team, and consistently deliver high-quality, completed staff work.
Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be based in Quezon City with regular field work in Bicol and North Luzon
