Job summary

Spirit of America seeks a Manila-based Associate Program Manager, Operations to support the Philippines Country Manager in designing and delivering high-impact programs. This local-hire role focuses on day-to-day programmatic coordination, documentation, and implementation support across the country office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international relations, development, public administration, security studies, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting program implementation, project coordination, international development, or related work.
• Experience in complex operating environments, preferably in the Philippines or Indo-Pacific region.
• Ability to translate programmatic needs, partner input, and updates into clear plans, trackers, and briefings.
• Experience working with NGOs, civil society, government entities, vendors, or international organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal English; ability to work with remote teams.
• Fluency in Filipino; proficiency in another local language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate partner-identified needs into organized project concepts, implementation plans, activity timelines, budgets, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate day-to-day program activities with local partners, vendors, beneficiaries, and stakeholders to support timely implementation.
• Track milestones, deliverables, deadlines, action items, and follow-up needs for accurate information.
• Support reporting on progress, outcomes, lessons learned, and impact stories in coordination with the Country Manager.
