Job summary

Aviato Consulting is seeking a Program Manager to lead large-scale enterprise software and cloud projects. You will drive planning, tracking, and cross-functional execution across multiple client accounts.

In this role you will use AI-enhanced PM practices to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment with clients' strategic goals and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program management experience leading large-scale software or cloud projects.
• Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
• Cross-functional leadership with the ability to guide teams without direct reporting authority.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, cloud environments, and modern tech stacks.
• Experience with AI/ML projects or technology consulting is a plus.

Role Description

Project Planning & Tracking: Maintain comprehensive project plans, utilizing AI-assisted tools to track key milestones, forecast cross-project dependencies, and optimize team velocity across multiple client accounts.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all client deliverables meet established quality standards, Statement of Work (SOW) requirements, and technical guidelines prior to release.

Transparent Communication: Establish a regular cadence for status updates. Leverage AI and data analytics to synthesize complex project metrics into clear, accurate progress reports and operational insights for clients and internal leadership.

Client Engagement & Alignment: Lead scheduled review meetings and steering committees with key client stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment and monitor overall project health.

Multi-Project Management: Oversee the health of several concurrent accounts. Collaborate with Scrum Masters to eliminate roadblocks, optimize cross-functional workflows, and consistently achieve project goals.

Risk & Scope Management: Identify potential risks early using predictive tracking and project analytics. Prevent scope creep across projects and skillfully negotiate change orders with clients when project requirements evolve.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

Program Management Experience (8+ Years): A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multiple large-scale software or cloud projects concurrently. Highly skilled in tracking project plans, milestones, budgets, and risks, with a willingness to adopt modern, AI-enhanced PM software.

Stakeholder Communication: Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. Comfortable leading meetings with executive stakeholders and effectively managing their expectations.

Cross-Functional Leadership: The ability to guide teams, resolve conflicts, and drive progress without having direct reporting authority over Tech Leads, Architects, or Scrum Masters.

Technical Literacy: While coding is not required, you must have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), cloud environments, and modern tech stacks. You should be able to comprehend technical blockers and explain them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points:

Experience in technology consulting or professional services, managing multiple external client accounts simultaneously.

Experience overseeing projects involving Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), data engineering pipelines, or Generative AI integrations.

Proficiency in using GenAI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or AI-driven PM assistants) to streamline reporting, documentation, and workflows.

Industry-recognized certifications in project or program management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP).
