Responsibilities include operating registers, processing payments, balancing cash drawers, handling exchanges and refunds, and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in retail, a bachelor’s degree, and are computer literate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or any 4-year course.
• At least 1 year of cashiering/retail experience with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
