Job summary

MR. DIY Philippines is seeking a reliable cashier to join our store team in Pigcawayan Cotabato. The role involves processing payments, handling POS systems, and ensuring accurate pricing and receipts for every customer.

You will operate registers, scanners, and card terminals; balance the cash drawer daily; and assist customers with exchanges, refunds, and general service. A business or 4-year degree is preferred, with at least one year in a similar industry and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Pigcawayan Cotabato.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and give change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit/debit card terminals.
• Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensuring prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds promptly.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
