Role Overview
Italian Speaking - Customer Onboarding Specialist
This role reports to the Professional Services Team Lead and works closely with the Business Development and Account Management Teams to ensure a quality and efficient build and accuracy of data migrated for all partners using Fresha’s ecosystem through inbound and outbound channels.
Key Accountabilities
- Confidently communicate the onboarding process and set expectations of the project plan.
- Guide and train partners on the Fresha platform to encourage platform adoption.
- Provide quality assurance and pay attention to detail during onboarding.
- Maintain an average onboarding lead time of 7 business days per specialist.
- Track project timelines, task progression, and record correspondence.
Partner Onboarding
- Lead the partner onboarding journey; manage potential risks and handle objections.
- Understand partner business requirements and challenges that Fresha will solve.
- Be curious about the beauty & wellness industry and familiar with their business operations.
- Scope competitor software, document processes, and continuously improve.
- Guide, educate, and provide product training for a seamless partner handover experience.
- Create and share training materials such as videos, meeting notes and help‑centre articles.
- Ensure partners actively use the system and its payment/add‑on features.
- Create clear tasks using HubSpot and leverage Loom recordings for instructions.
- Manipulate and clean data sheets; use CSV migration tools to import data in bulk.
- Assist partners in getting the best possible onboarding experience.
Additional Ad‑Hoc
- Ensure accurate use of HubSpot to reflect partner progress in the onboarding pipeline.
- Support partners through banking and KYC verification processes while staying compliant.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve features, internal processes, and partner experience.
- Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones and work in markets with different languages.
- Report issues to the support team to resolve product or migration tool problems.
- Assisting with ad‑hoc product questions and partner data migration requests; cover other team members and partner projects.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
- Commercially minded with an understanding of critical partner onboarding needs.
- Ability to manage partner expectations from the start.
- Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with data cleaning is an asset.
- Project coordination experience or certification highly desired.
- Experience in the beauty & wellness sector or in a previous start‑up/scale‑up tech company is an asset.
- Ability to identify problems and opportunities and propose or implement solutions.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Capability to influence others through effective communication and negotiation.
- Flexible and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Creative thinking and problem‑solving mindset.
- Team player who is willing to roll up sleeves and assist the team when required.
- Self‑starter with a highly proactive approach.
