Job summary

Risla Collection Inc. in Taytay, Philippines is seeking a Dining Attendant to warmly welcome guests, assist with seating, set tables with essential items, and maintain a clean dining area for a smooth casual dining experience.

The ideal candidate should have college-level business education, a bachelor’s degree is a plus, at least 2 years of dining attendant experience, knowledge of hygiene and food safety, and strong English/Tagalog communication.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least college level in any business related course.
• Bachelor degree / college graduate is an advantage.
• At least (2) years experience as Dining Attendant in a reputable Restaurant or Hotel.
• Casual Dining skills is an advantage.
• Knowledge on basic restaurant service standards.
• Knowledge on hygiene and food safety practices.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Can understand and speak English and Tagalog languages.
• Must have the ability to project a positive and professional image.
• Willingness to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist them in finding available seating when required.
• Set up dining tables with clean utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary items.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including floors, chairs, counters, and service stations.
• Refill condiments, beverages, napkins, and other dining supplies.
• Assist servers by delivering food, beverages, and additional guest requests when needed.
• Ensure dining areas are properly sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collect and properly dispose of waste, ensuring trash bins are emptied regularly.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist in opening and closing dining operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all guests.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Dining Supervisor.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask under pressure
