The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, with experience in television, broadcast, media production, or newsroom environments. You will participate in a 24x7 support model and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure service restoration and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Broadcast Technology or similar environments.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• Experience supporting live TV, news, or media production environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with Saga Workflow, Mimir (MAM), video playback, on-air graphics, and control-room devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support for live broadcast and production operations.
• Troubleshoot production applications, newsroom systems, media workflows, and control-room technologies.
• Manage incidents from detection through resolution, ensuring timely communication and service restoration.
• Support video playback, on-air graphics, teleprompter systems, MOS devices, and production control room technologies.
• Monitor system health and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, IT, vendors, and production teams.
• Participate in a 24x7 support model with rotating shifts and on-call coverage.
• Document incidents, root causes, and operational procedures.

Production & Technology Support Engineer

HCL Tech is looking for a Production & Technology Support Engineer to support mission-critical broadcast and production systems that power live TV programming, newsrooms, control rooms, and media operations.

We're seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with experience in television, broadcast, media production, or newsroom environments, ideally from organizations such as Televisa, TV Azteca, Imagen Televisión, Multimedios, ESPN, Fox Sports, or similar media companies.

What You'll Do

• Provide real-time support for live broadcast and production operations.
• Troubleshoot production applications, newsroom systems, media workflows, and control-room technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively under pressure during live production events.

Work Schedule

This is a fully remote position operating in a 24x7 environment. Candidates must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
