Job summary

Niber Philippines Corp in Dasmariñas, Cavite, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and step in as Shift Leader when needed.

You will coordinate production activities, guide team leaders, ensure quality and safety, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to hit targets.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3–7 years in manufacturing, with plant operations and budgeting experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years experience in manufacturing/production.
• Proven experience managing Entire Plant operations, Multiple departments and Budgeting and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Assumes the role of the Production Supervisor in case of absence.
• Support the Production Supervisor in overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Assist in coordinating and scheduling production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Also serve as a Shift Leader.
• Manages the operations in the production area.
• Oversee, assist, and coach the team leaders and shift leaders to ensure optimal performance and adherence to procedures.
• Foster the growth of production leaders by actively training them in leadership techniques.
• Able to cooperate effectively with the team and shift leaders.
• Evaluate the current state of production efficiency and management, identify any shortcomings, provide recommendations for improvement, and take the necessary steps to implement the suggested enhancements.
• Formulate reporting guidelines and systems to effectively measure and assess performance and development.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders for supplies and materials needed for production.
• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem-solving activities to enhance production processes.
• Attend production meetings whenever necessary.
