Job summary

RAM Food Products Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the canned, retort SUP and condiments production teams. You will drive production efficiency, quality control, and employee development while managing costs.

The role requires FMCG experience, a degree in a related field, strong leadership, and the ability to work rotating shifts in Cabuyao, Laguna.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food engineering, industrial engineering, or science-related field.
• Experience in food production or a supervisory role preferred.
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Keen eye for detail with rational thinking.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, 6 days a week; assignment in Cabuyao, Laguna.
• Experience in FMCG industry is essential.

Responsibilities

• Staff management, production management and smooth run of production process to achieve established production volume, quality, service and cost.
• Ensures production employees are properly oriented and trained.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and company policies are followed.
• Liaisons with third party contractors and suppliers to meet labor or plant equipment needs.
• Monitors, measures and reports on production process performance and issues.
• Maintains clear communication with staff, verbally or in writing.
• Maintains housekeeping standards for a safe workplace.
• Participates in monthly inventory count.
• Demonstrates professional conduct and integrity in dealings with suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors, customers, and stakeholders.

Job description

Purpose of the position:

Production Supervisor leads the production team of Canned, Retort SUP and Condiments products. The Production Supervisor is accountable and responsible for efficient production including quality control, development of employees and departmental cost control.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for staff management, production management and smooth run of production process to achieve established production volume, quality, service and cost;

• Ensures production employees are properly oriented and trained;

• Ensures that the department complies with regulations and company policies;

• Liaisons with third party contractors and suppliers to meet labor or plant equipment and/or repair needs.

• Monitors, measures and reports on production related process performance, general issues;

• Ensures good communication is given either verbally or written to all members/staff;

• Maintains housekeeping standards to ensure clean and safe workplace;

• Participates in Company’s monthly inventory count;

• Maintains high standard of professional knowledge and conducts oneself in a professional manner that reflects integrity and respect when dealing with suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors, customers, and other stakeholders of the company.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food engineering, industrial engineering, or science-related course.

• Previous experience in food production or experience in a supervisory role preferred.

• Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Good leadership skills.

• With a keen eye for detail and a rational thinker

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing systems is an advantage

• Possess good decision-making skills

• Willing to work on shifts, 6 days a week

• Willing to be assigned in Cabuyao, Laguna
