Job summary

SPT (Phil) Clark Corporation is seeking a Production Engineer/Management Trainee to determine manpower, machine capacity and materials to cover production demand. You will develop process improvements to boost efficiency, capacity and reduce costs, and plan material movements to maintain continuous operations.

The role requires a strong understanding of production processes, QC and management strategies, with leadership abilities to motivate a team and enforce safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electronics engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as Production Engineer or Management Trainee in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production processes, QC and management strategies.
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
• Proficiency in production management software and MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine manpower, machine capacity and materials needed to cover production demand.
• Develop process improvements for efficiency, capacity and cost reduction.
• Plan, schedule and monitor material movement to ensure continuous operations.
• Monitor work in process against the released work orders and weekly production schedule.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and EMS, enforce safety and company policies.
• Identify and analyze potential problems, develop controls and preventive actions.
• Coach and counsel subordinates.

• Develop process improvements for efficiency, increase capacity and yield, waste and cost reduction and improve manufacturing and production control systems.
• Plans, schedules and monitor material movement in production to ensure continuous operations.
• Monitors work in process in line with the released work order and weekly production schedule.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and EMS, enforce work instructions, safety and security procedures and company policies and rules and regulations.
• Identify and analyze potential problems, develop and implement controls and permanent preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to own and member’s standard work.
• Ensure communication strategy is consistent, from top management direction and issues raise from team members.
• Report issues to the Manager with complete details and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience as Production Engineer or Management Trainee, preferably in manufacturing (electronics, semiconductor) industry
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and management strategies.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols in the workplace.
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
