Job summary

LeapXpert, based in Pasig, Philippines, is seeking a Service Stability Engineer to join its Advanced Support team. You will triage, diagnose, and resolve production incidents, monitor systems, and coordinate with engineering for fixes.

The role requires 3–5 years in production or application support, with strong experience in Kubernetes, Kafka, and databases, plus CI/CD and automation skills. You will contribute to 24/7 standby support, work with AI-assisted tooling, and help maintain runbooks.

Qualifications

3-5 years in a Production Support or Application Support Engineer role (technical background).
Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems: Kubernetes, Kafka, databases like MongoDB/PostgreSQL, REST APIs.
Experience with incident management and root-cause analysis methodology.
Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus) to diagnose issues.
Basic scripting and programming ability (Python/Java/Bash) to build automation and AI-assisted tooling.

Responsibilities

Triage, investigate, and resolve production incidents with root-cause analysis.
Monitor production systems and respond to alerts, incidents, and escalations.
Escalate unresolved issues with clear documentation and verify fixes in production.
Drive emergency hotfixes and scheduled changes across multiple customer environments.
Own end-to-end resolution of systemic issues and propose permanent fixes.
