Job summary

MD Juan Enterprises is seeking a Production Planning and Inventory Officer to manage planning, scheduling, and inventory control for a metal fabrication and assembly environment. The role requires 1–3 years in planning/inventory, and a background in manufacturing is preferred.

You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and QC to ensure materials and production meet schedules. The ideal candidate has strong Excel and MS Office skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing

Qualifications

• Graduate in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years in Production Planning and/or Inventory Control.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably metal fabrication and assembly.
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling, material requirements, inventory control.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; ERP/MRP experience advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with accurate records.
• Good communication and coordination across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans and schedules.
• Monitor production progress against targets and delivery requirements.
• Review material availability and inventory levels (RAW, WIP, finished goods).
• Identify shortages and coordinate recovery actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, QC and other departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Prepare and maintain production orders, lists, and planning reports.
• Analyze production and inventory data and report to management.
• Support shop-floor coordination and gemba activities.

Job Description

-We are looking for a Production Planning & Inventory Control Officer to support the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of production activities and inventory requirements in a metal fabrication and assembly manufacturing environment.

-The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in either Production Planning and/or Inventory Control and have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements, inventory availability, and production coordination.

-The position will work closely with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality Control, and other departments to ensure that materials and parts are available, production activities are properly planned and monitored, and customer requirements are completed according to schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans and schedules.
• Monitor production progress against planned targets and delivery requirements.
• Review production requirements and determine the availability of materials, parts, WIP, and finished goods.
• Identify material and parts shortages that may affect production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other departments regarding shortages and production priorities.
• Monitor raw materials, parts and components, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct or participate in cycle counts and physical inventory verification.
• Monitor inventory movement, aging, slow-moving, and non-moving stocks.
• Prepare and maintain Production Orders, Production Lists, planning reports, inventory reports, and other related documents.
• Identify potential production delays and coordinate necessary recovery actions.
• Analyze production and inventory data and provide timely reports to management.
• Participate in daily production coordination and shop-floor/Gemba activities.
• Perform other Production Planning and Inventory Control functions as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• With 1–3 years of work experience in Production Planning and/or Inventory Control.
• Must have experience working in a manufacturing industry, preferably metal fabrication and assembly.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, material requirements, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, and material flow in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate production and inventory records.
• Good communication and coordination skills and able to work effectively with different manufacturing departments.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple production priorities.
• Preferably a resident of North Caloocan or Quezon City.
• Willing to work on-site in North Caloocan City.
• Experience in either Production Planning or Inventory Control is acceptable. Candidates with exposure to both functions will be an advantage.
