Key Responsibilities
1. Production Operations
- Supervise and monitor daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Implement production schedules and adjust workflows to maximize efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety protocols.
2. People Management
- Lead, motivate, and evaluate production staff to achieve performance objectives.
- Conduct training and coaching for operators and production personnel.
- Enforce company rules, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans when necessary.
3. Quality and Safety Compliance
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet required quality specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and Maintenance teams to promptly resolve production issues.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in the workplace.
4. Resource and Process Management
- Oversee the proper use of materials, machinery, and equipment to minimize waste.
- Coordinate with warehouse, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and production supplies.
5. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare daily and weekly production reports, variance analyses, and incident reports.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Support audits and compliance requirements related to production operations.
- Use the SAP system to record transactions such as Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, and Inventory Transfer.
- Ensure all inventory data in the SAP system is accurate and up to date.
- Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile them against SAP records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or production operations.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Solid knowledge of production planning, quality standards, and workplace safety protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and production-related systems.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules and render extended hours when required
