Job summary

Coherent Corp. in the Philippines is seeking a Production Planning professional to ensure the production line is loaded with sufficient WIP for a continuous flow and to align material delivery with customer commitments.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Material Planner, Engineering, QA and Production to address issues, inform internal/external customers of delivery changes, and keep the PPIC leadership updated on critical risks to commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or its equivalents with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Planning (functional skills).

• Collaborate with Purchasing or Material Planner on material delivery and align customer commits with delivery changes.
• Collaborate and communicate with Engineering, QA, and Production for alignment and addressing issues/concerns.
• Inform customers (internal and external) of any changes to delivery/shipment commits.
• Inform/updates the PPIC manager on critical issues and needs to avoid jeopardizing customer commitments.

Closely work with Purchasing or Material Planner on the material delivery and ensure customer commits are aligned with any changes on the delivery

Collaborate and communicate with Engineering, QA, and Production for alignment and addressing the issues/concerns

Inform the customers both internal and external for any changes of delivery/shipment commit

Inform/updates the PPIC manager / leader on the critical issues and help needed that will jeopardize our commit to customer

Education & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or its equivalents with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Planning (functional skills)

Skills

• Knowledge in Oracle and Power BI is an advantage
• Knowledge in Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
• With initiative and eager to learn
