Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Planning professional to ensure the production line has adequate WIP for continuous flow. You will closely coordinate with Purchasing, Material Planning, Engineering, QA, and Production to align material deliveries and delivery commitments.

You will communicate delivery changes to customers and keep the PPIC manager informed about critical issues impacting customer commitments. This role is onsite in the Philippines and requires a degree in Industrial Engineering with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Planning (functional skills).
• On-site role in Calamba, Philippines.

Ensure Production line is loaded with enough WIP for continuous flow of activities.

Closely work with Purchasing or Material Planner on the material delivery and ensure customer commits are aligned with any changes on the delivery.

Collaborate and communicate with Engineering, QA, and Production for alignment and addressing the issues/concerns.

Inform the customers both internal and external for any changes of delivery/shipment commit.

Inform/updates the PPIC manager / leader on the critical issues and help needed that will jeopardize our commit to customer.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or its equivalents with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Planning (functional skills)

Skills

• Knowledge in Oracle and Power BI is an advantage
• Knowledge in Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
• With initiative and eager to learn
