Job summary

Magna Prime Chemical Technologies, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Production Planner to prepare production plans for paints and coatings based on demand, inventory, and capacity. The role updates schedules to reflect priorities and available resources.

You will coordinate with Production, Material Planning, Warehouse, and Quality to ensure materials availability, timely production, and adherence to the approved schedule, while monitoring progress and resolving bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares production plans for Paints and Coatings based on customer demand, inventory requirements, and production capacity.
• Prepares and updates production schedules based on production priorities, batch requirements, and available resources.
• Coordinates with Production regarding machine capacity, manpower, batch sizes, and production sequence.
• Coordinates with Material Planning to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging materials before production.
• Monitors production progress against the approved production schedule.
• Identifies production delays, bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and other planning issues.
• Adjusts production schedules based on material availability, machine capacity, production priorities, and operational requirements.
• Coordinates with Warehouse regarding availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods storage capacity.
• Monitors production orders and ensures timely completion according to the approved schedule.
• Coordinates with Quality regarding production priorities, testing requirements, and release of finished goods.
• Communicates production status, schedule changes, and potential delays to concerned departments.
• Prepares production planning, scheduling, capacity, and performance reports.
• Monitors planned versus actual production output and identifies variances.
• Supports resolution of production shortages, schedule conflicts, and other planning concerns.
• Maintains accurate and complete production planning records and documents.
