LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP. in Balagtas, Bulacan, is seeking a Production Planner to optimize schedules and ensure timely steel product delivery. You will coordinate workflows, monitor progress, and liaise across departments to meet customer demands while upholding quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years in production planning, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a detail-oriented, proactive mindset to improve efficiency and reduce waste. This is a full-time on-site position in Bulacan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or similar in manufacturing or steel production.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of steel production or heavy manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities across departments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in planning and reporting.
• Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Admin preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and demand forecasting is a plus.

About the role

LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing operations team. This is a full-time position based in Balagtas, Bulacan, where you will play a critical role in optimising our production schedules and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations. As Production Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating production workflows, managing schedules, and liaising between various departments to ensure timely delivery of steel products whilst maintaining quality standards. This role is essential to our operational success and directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and maintain competitive manufacturing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain production schedules that align with sales forecasts, customer orders, and manufacturing capacity
2. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules in real-time to address delays, bottlenecks, or quality issues
3. Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure adequate raw materials and resources are available for scheduled production runs
4. Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
5. Prepare detailed production reports and forecasts for management review and strategic planning
6. Manage inventory levels to balance stock availability with storage capacity and cash flow requirements
7. Liaise with customers and the sales team to communicate production timelines and address any scheduling concerns
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturing standards throughout all planning activities
9. Utilise planning software and systems to track production metrics and maintain accurate records

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience (2+ years) in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within manufacturing or steel production environments
2. Strong proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyse complex data sets
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
4. Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in steel production or heavy manufacturing sectors
5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across all departments
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to address production challenges and optimise schedules
7. Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in planning and reporting
8. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
9. Familiarity with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) and demand forecasting methods is an advantage
