Job summary

Coherent Corp. Philippines is seeking a Production Operator to operate automated test equipment and contribute to meeting KPI targets in a 100% onsite setup in Calamba, Laguna.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of semiconductors assembly and burn-in/test production experience, with a 2-year technical background or college-level education. Strong hands-on skills and MS Office proficiency are required for independent and group work.

Qualifications

• Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing, assembly and/or burn-in/test clean room environment preferred.
• Hands-on attitude with initiative and resourcefulness.
• Able to stand for long periods and work in 100% onsite settings.
• MS Office knowledge and basic computer skills.

Education & Experience

• College Level or a graduate of any 2-year Technical Course.
• 2-3 years semiconductors assembly and burn-in/test production experience. Experience in leading a small production team, preferably.

Skills

• Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing, assembly and/or burn-in/test clean room environment preferred.
• An understanding of clean room protocol, procedures is required and material safety data sheet (MSDS) preferred.
• Hands-on attitude, initiative and resourcefulness, a must
• Able to work independently as well as in a group environment
• Must have excellent manual dexterity; able to manipulate very small parts with tweezers and other instruments
• Excellent eyesight; vision correctable with glasses is acceptable; no contact lenses
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be flexible: daily activities can and will change
• MS Office knowledge and hands-on experience
