Job summary

COGNEX SINGAPORE INC. is seeking a Production Operator to support all production activities within the distribution area, including assembly, testing, loading customer-specific software, and related tasks to meet production targets.

Responsibilities include following order processes, loading software on vision systems, selecting materials per production orders, stocking correctly, and accurately picking items for delivery. Overtime is possible, and 1–2 years in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• 1–2 years in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds when required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all processes and procedures through the entire order process.
• Load customer-specific software on vision systems, barcode readers and industrial PCs.
• Select materials from production orders and validate against orders.
• Place materials in correct stocking locations and pull material for orders.
• Use delivery pick lists to pick sales order material and quantities.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed by the supervisor.
