COGNEX SINGAPORE INC. is seeking a Shipping Cell Lead to manage all shipping activities within a distribution center in the Philippines. The role entails ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety, and a culture of continuous improvement.

You will guide the shipping team, escalate issues to supervision, and drive prioritization to meet daily shipping goals. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a distribution center environment, plus leadership experience in logistics or warehousing.

Qualifications

5+ years in a Distribution Center environment.
1+ year in logistic/warehouse leadership.
Proactive problem solver and independent worker.
Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

Coaching and mentoring of individuals within the shipping cell.
Communicating goals and targets and setting daily priorities/objectives for the cell.
Initiative to identify issues and escalate to supervisor properly.
Delegates assignments to team in a dynamic work environment.
Ensure that all appropriate training has been completed for everyone prior to assigning tasks.
Identify daily shipping requirements and prioritize work for the members within the cell accordingly.
Collaborate with Traffic and Compliance Team and Order Administration Team to resolve issues and set appropriate priorities to fulfill the delivery.
Adhere to company standards and regulatory on Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines.
Lead a shipping team with 5-6 team members, to achieve daily packing & shipping KPI target.
Lead Continuous Improvement events to help achieve department savings targets.
