Job summary

DANE INTERNATIONAL COMMODITIES INC. in Metro Manila is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily repacking activities and ensure schedules are met.

You will coordinate raw materials, supervise packing operations, and ensure packaging aligns with product specs and safety standards. The role requires strict adherence to GMP/HACCP, sanitation and allergen controls, with focus on accurate records and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement daily/weekly repacking schedules based on approved production plans and customer orders.
• Ensure production activities are completed within the required schedule.
• Coordinate with Warehouse regarding availability and release of raw materials/packaging materials.
• Supervise the sifting, packing, weighing, filling, sealing, labeling/coding of products.
• Ensure products are packed according to approved product specifications and work instructions.
• Monitor compliance with weight, packaging, labeling and handling requirements.
• Assign personnel to specific production activities.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, work discipline and compliance with procedures.
• Ensure production personnel comply with GMP, HACCP, sanitation, allergen control, personal hygiene, and food safety requirements.
• Report deviations, contamination risks, damaged packaging, and other food safety concerns to QA/QC.
• Complete production records, batch/lot records, weighing records, and other documents accurately.
• Maintain production area in clean, safe condition; ensure equipment and utensils are cleaned and maintained.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, sampling, and release of products.
• Ensure production does not proceed without required quality or food safety clearance.
• Assist in investigation of nonconformities, complaints, and discrepancies.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions related to production activities.
• Monitor usage of raw materials and packaging materials during repacking.
• Ensure materials issued match approved production orders.
• Communicate pending or incomplete orders to concerned departments or personnel.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, manpower utilization, yield, and process controls.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Recommend improvements to production procedures, forms and work instructions.
• Support other departments to improve processes and policies for maximum output.
• Maintain proper work decorum, behavior and attitude.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Superiors.

• Ensure the production area is maintained in a clean, orderly, safe condition, and equipment and utensils are properly operated, cleaned, and maintained.

• Coordinate with QA/QC for required inspections, sampling, and release of products.

• Ensure production does not proceed when required quality or food safety clearance has not been obtained.

• Assist in investigation of production-related nonconformities, complaints, and product discrepancies.

• Implement approved corrective and preventive actions related to production activities.

• Monitor usage of raw materials and packaging materials during repacking.

• Ensure materials issued to production correspond to the approved production order.

• Ensure proper communication of pending or incomplete order to the responsible and concerned department or personnel.

• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, manpower utilization, material yield, and process controls.

• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.

• Recommend improvements to production procedures, forms, and work instructions.

• Supports other departments in improving processes and policies to achieve maximum output and organizational goals.
