Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in Metro Manila is hiring a Production Operations Leader to assist the Operations Manager across Bread, Bakery, Cake, Pastry, and related lines, including Dispatching and Portering. You will drive direction and daily performance to meet schedule and quality targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, at least 5 years in manufacturing, and 2–3 years in supervision, with strong food‑manufacturing experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager for overall directions and management of Production lines (Bread, Bakery, Cake, Pastry, Food Line, Dispatching, Distribution and Portering).
• Provide leadership to ensure production meets schedule, quality, food safety, and cost targets.
• Oversee shift operations and ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production activities.

Job description

Responsible in assisting the Operations Manager for the overall directions and management of the Production, encompassing the lines of Bread, Bakery, Cake, Pastry, Food Line, Dispatching, Distribution and Portering. Manages and provides leadership in order that Production can produce the goods and services at the right time, right quality and food safety, and at the best cost.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations.

At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or similar production environments is highly preferred.
