Job summary

Plastic and Tools, Inc. is seeking a Line Leader to supervise production line operations in plastic manufacturing, ensuring targets are met and safety protocols are followed. You will coordinate with planning, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to maintain smooth production flow.

The role emphasizes enforcing safety, PPE adherence, 5S/Kaizen practices, and continuous improvement to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to ensure employees wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Ability to report and investigate accidents or near-miss incidents.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to implement 5S and Kaizen initiatives on the production floor.
• Ability to recommend process improvements to reduce cost, eliminate waste, and improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned production line.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and output targets.
• Lead and supervise production operators during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate line activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with production planning, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse Departments.
• Conduct shift handover meetings to communicate production status.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
• Record daily production output, downtime, rejects, and material usage.
• Ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently.
