Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a Production/Finished Artist to support image preparation, retouching, and template-driven production for print and digital assets. The role focuses on high-volume, detail-oriented finishing to meet brand standards across imagery and trading card assets.

You will roll out layouts, ensure color accuracy, bleeds and safe zones, and export print-ready files while maintaining consistency across numerous assets and templates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a studio, agency or prepress environment.
• Strong Adobe CC skills — InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Solid Photoshop craft: clipping, masking, edge and hair work, colour correction to a standard.
• Understanding of print production — bleed, trim, safe zones, CMYK, spot colours, overprint, packaging files.

Responsibilities

• Asset & Image Preparation/Retouching: source photography, clean up clipped images, retouch and clip to specs, check resolution.
• Template Production: roll out master layouts across assets with approved content (images, colours, logos, text, stats).
• Finished Art Preparation: set up bleed, check trim areas, ensure color modes and export print-ready artwork.
• Proofing & Quality Control: cross-check data and photography, proofread, create print previews and mockups.
• Digital Marketing Asset Rollout: build email and social assets based on templates.

Production/Finished Artist

Job Description:

Asset & Image Preparation/Retouching:

• Source and organise photography.
• Clean up clipped images.
• Retouch and clip image to agreed specifications.
• Check image resolution, upscale or replace low-res assets.
• Focus on finishing, retouching, and creative production, particularly for imagery and trading card assets.

Template Production:

• Roll out master layouts, populating individual designs with approved content (images, colours, logos, text, stats).
• Roll out layouts across heavily templated assets.

Finished Art Preparation:

• Set up bleed, check trim areas and safe zones.
• Check colour modes, overprint settings and resolution, die lines and spot colours.
• Create and export print-ready artwork.

Proofing & Quality Control:

• Cross-check data and photography against supplied sources.
• Proofread designations, spelling, terminology, statistics, logos, colours, typography, alignment, image crop, bleed, resolution and export.
• Create print previews and mockups for marketing and customers.

Digital Marketing Asset Rollout:

• Build eDM based on established templates and rollout of marketing and socials assets.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a studio, agency or prepress environment.
• Strong Adobe CC skills — InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Solid Photoshop craft: clipping, masking, edge and hair work, colour correction to an established standard, template-driven retouching.
• A working understanding of print production — bleed, trim, safe zones, CMYK, spot colours, overprint, packaging files.
• Confidence working in a defined system rather than reinventing them.
• Genuinely exceptional attention to detail — ability to notice the things everyone else misses.
• Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume work and the discipline to keep the last file as accurate as the first.

Portfolio / Candidate Expectations:

• Before and after examples of clipping, image manipulation, imagery touching, finishing, and retouching.
• Examples showing how an initial design was rolled out across multiple assets or templates.
• Finished artwork that demonstrates the complexity and technical detail involved in final production.
• Examples of working with a significant number of assets, while maintaining consistency and accuracy.

Experience handling both detailed creative work and fast paced/high volume production.
