JMT Modular Interior Construction Inc. is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our steel and wood works production for modular fit-outs. The role is responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently, meets quality standards, and is delivered on schedule to support project timelines.
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for steel and woodwork used in modular fit-outs
Monitor production schedules to ensure targets and project deadlines are met
Inspect work-in-progress and finished products to ensure quality and specification compliance
Assign tasks and manage the workload of production staff, fabricators, and carpenters
Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure materials and supplies are available for production
Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and equipment
Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
Conduct site visits to check on installation requirements, resolve production-related issues, and coordinate with project teams
Prepare production reports, including output, downtime, and material usage
Train and guide production staff on proper techniques, quality standards, and safety practices
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design
At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in production supervision, preferably in steel fabrication, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or construction fit-out production
Working knowledge of steel fabrication and/or woodworking processes, tools, and materials
Basic understanding of occupational health and safety standards in a production/workshop environment
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willing to work at the production shop and conduct occasional project site visits
Proficient in basic MS Office applications for reporting
