Under supervision of the Production Control Supervisor, the Production Control Clerk Lead oversees, directs, and manages daily operations of the Production Control and Work Orders Section. Serves as the centralized customer service focal point. Processes all work requests, to include after-hours calls, dispatches craftsmen to emergencies, and writes corrective maintenance (CM). Classifies work using the most current Government work classification system. Inspects, maintains, repairs, operates, and performs minor alternations efficiently and economically. Processes all work requests within 24 hours after receipt to ensure a high level of customer service. Also manages the CE vehicle fleet and associated tasks, and makes vehicle assignments. Manages vehicle inventory, monitors Government vehicle status, provides maintenance oversight, prepares reports, and investigates vehicle incidents. Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications:
  • One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must provide a copy of the diploma.
  • Must be able to obtain a Driver’s License.
  • Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbally.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a CAC.
• Experience:
  • Possesses a solid background in GCSS-Army, leveraging advanced system proficiency to manage work orders, track equipment readiness, validate parts requirements, and ensure accurate data integrity across all production control processes.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Production Control.
• Skills:
  • Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
  • Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload
  • Ability to work under pressure
• Working Conditions:
  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, humid, tropical environment with average temperatures of 85 degrees in the summer months).
  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work
  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
