Job summary

Hilton Philippines is seeking a dedicated Steward to support our hotels team. You’ll be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring all chinaware, silverware and utensils are spotless and properly prepared for service.

This role requires basic qualifications and a focus on hygiene; you'll monitor stock, maintain cleanliness, assist events, and mentor junior team members while complying with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 1 year of work experience in a 4- to 5-star hotel.
• Able to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of HACCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep serviceware spotless: Clean chinaware, silverware, pots, pans and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels: Ensure supplies/equipment are well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness: Mop floors and remove trash as part of routine tasks.
• Support events delivery: Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor team members: Share expertise to help strengthen the steward team.
• Comply with regulatory standards: Health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness guidelines.
