Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a production supervisor to coordinate daily schedules, manage manpower, and ensure GMP-compliant processes. You will monitor output and quality, train new staff, and maintain calibration and maintenance plans across manufacturing lines.

The role involves planning, reporting on deviations, and driving process improvements while supporting the production team and ensuring adherence to SOPs and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Arrange daily schedule, manpower loading and shift changeover to meet scheduled production.
• Monitor quality and daily output and compile daily production records.
• Write simple and test and validation reports.
• Train new employees.
• Perform monthly stocktaking.
• Arrange sample making.
• Prepare daily/weekly production planning and work improvement program.
• Arrange Material and WIP in orderly manner such as FIFO in accordance with GMP.
• Responsible for forecasting/planning and inter-department coordination.
• Set, implement, improve and ensure compliance to SOPs per GMP for quality control.
• Manage staff discipline, performance, attendance and training.
• Oversee machine calibration, validation, improvement and maintenance schedule.
• Report on scrap, loss disposal, process deviation, new process validation and machine & manpower efficiency.
• Raise and write necessary reports for Process Change, discrepancy, deviation and failure control.
• Responsible for production re-work, scrap/loss, disposal, process validation and discrepancies.
• Assist in machine qualification, validation, improvement, troubleshooting and spare parts.
• Ensure all calibration and servicing is done before due date.
• Prepare Monthly Quality Reports.
• Assist in process quality performance and investigate quality problems.
• Prepare risk assessment and PFMEAs for section.
• Create validation protocol for new machine and equipment.
• Conduct investigations to create corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and improve areas of clean room cleanliness, contamination rates and rejects.
• Set and implement Process Flow Structure and chart for process capacity records.
• Plan and implement short term Process Capacity Forecast and determine capacity targets.
• Re-engineer and improve process quality and productivity; investigate quality problems.
• Assist Production Supervisor and Production Manager in other functions.
• Other responsibilities assigned by the superior.
