Job summary

Prudential plc seeks a seasoned Product Strategy Lead to drive the strategic and commercial direction of PLUK’s product management portfolio. Reporting to the Product Management Head, you will shape roadmap, governance, and development across design, pricing, marketing, and sales enablement.

You will oversee product launches, manage timelines, and ensure regulatory alignment while coordinating with stakeholders across distribution and agencies to maximize market impact.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in life insurance product management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a people manager.
• Graduate of Mathematics/Actuarial Science, Finance, Business or equivalent in a reputable university.
• Knowledgeable in life insurance products and regulations.
• Experience managing projects end-to-end and collaborating with cross-functional units.
• Strong skills in product proposition, business narratives, and competitor research.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to manage clients and distributors.
• FLMI designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop product strategy, roadmap, and governance with data-driven insights.
• Oversee PSC meetings, present portfolio updates and timelines.
• Prepare governance documents (RACI) for product design and launches.
• Lead product development: design, pricing, marketing, training, and sales materials.
• Coordinate go/no-go decisions and launch readiness; conduct lessons learned sessions.
• Capture annual product performance insights and agency feedback for improvements.
• Manage product portfolio communications and launch timelines.
