TP ICAP is seeking a Product Owner to translate risk-domain requirements into prioritised backlogs and drive engineering teams to deliver rapidly.

You will sit at the intersection of business and technology, working with Financial Risk Management, trading desks, and engineering to shape what gets built and when. This is a hands-on role balancing modernisation with immediate operational needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Product Owner or BA in financial services technology, ideally within risk, post-trade, or capital markets.
Strong stakeholder management with engineers and senior business stakeholders.
Solid grasp of Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria.
Ability to decompose complex requirements into deliverable user stories.

Responsibilities

Own and prioritise the Product Backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with Product/Programme Managers to align with strategy and roadmap.
Clarify requirements and provide business context to development teams.
Apply customer-centric thinking to validate and refine solutions.
Lead creation of user stories and artefacts like workflows or mock-ups.
Coordinate cross-team delivery, managing dependencies and risks.
Conduct backlog grooming and participate in PI planning and Agile ceremonies.
Review prototypes and increments to ensure business needs are met.
Support UAT and ensure functional outcomes meet expectations.
