1. Role
Own and drive Lauritz Knudsen’s enterprise cloud platform ecosystem, ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud services that power every digital product and business application. This role is the single accountable owner for AWS, Azure, MongoDB, cloud infrastructure, shared services, DevSecOps, API platforms, data platforms, observability, security, and cloud governance—enabling Website, Mobile Apps, SmartComm, AI, Analytics, and Integration initiatives.
2. Organizational Context & Scope
- Portfolio owned:AWS + Azure landing zones, MongoDB Atlas, container platforms, API gateway/management, data platforms & data lakes, integration architecture, observability & SRE stack, IAM/Zero Trust, backup & DR, FinOps.
- Business impact:Thefoundational platformfor the entire LK-EA digital estate — an outage or cost blowout here affects Website, Mobile, IoT, Analytics, and every internal app.
- Reach:Cross-domain — enables Website, Mobile Platform, IoT, AI, analytics, and integration workloads with reusable cloud capabilities.
3. Key Accountabilities
- Cloud Platform Ownership & Strategy— Define and execute the enterprise cloud strategy, roadmap, and governance model; own AWS, Azure, MongoDB, and shared cloud services; drive standardization, scalability, reliability, and reusability.
- Architecture & Engineering Governance— Govern cloud architecture, landing zones, networking, environments, and platform standards; review and approve solution designs, infrastructure patterns, and technology choices; drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
- Cloud Operations, Reliability & SRE— Own platform availability, performance, monitoring, incident management, backup and disaster recovery; establish observability, SRE practices, operational dashboards, and SLOs; ensure production readiness and operational excellence.
- Security & Compliance— Govern cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and access controls; ensure compliance with Schneider security standards, privacy regulations, and audit requirements; drive vulnerability management, security reviews, and risk mitigation.
- Data, Integration & Shared Services— Own cloud data platforms, MongoDB services, API platforms, and integration services; enable secure and scalable integration across enterprise applications and digital platforms; support AI, analytics, and data-driven initiatives through reusable cloud capabilities.
- FinOps & Cost Optimization— Own cloud financial governance, cost visibility, budgeting, and optimization; drive resource utilization, cost efficiency, and capacity planning across platforms.
- People, Vendor & Stakeholder Leadership— Directly lead Cloud/DevOps/SRE/QA engineers; lead cloud vendors, architects, and platform partners; collaborate with Product, IT, Security, Data, Analytics, and Business teams; present platform roadmap, risks, performance, and investment priorities to leadership.

5. Required Education & Experience
- Education:B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related. Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Security, or Product certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CKA, CISSP, etc.).
- Experience: 12+ years of total experience, including 6+ years leading cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, or digital platforms. Proven experience in enterprise-scale AWS/Azure environments, cloud transformation initiatives, cross-functional engineering leadership, and vendor ecosystem management.
