Job summary

GCash, a leading fintech, seeks a Product Manager for International Transfers to drive cross-border payment products within the Philippines. You will own the product lifecycle from planning to launch and continuous improvement, collaborating with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Regulatory, and other teams to deliver simple, secure, and user-friendly solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, ideally fintech or payments.
• Experience owning or managing a product from concept to launch and ongoing improvement.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional stakeholders is required.
• Basic understanding of software and APIs; coding experience is not required.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of UX/UI principles and customer-centric development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Innovative, proactive mindset with ownership.
• Collaborative team player able to work with various teams.
• Experience in remittances or cross-border fintech is a plus.
• PSPO/PSM certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for International Transfers, from concept to launch and ongoing improvement.
• Drive improvements across features, operations, marketing, and process controls to enhance customer experience.
• Act as Product Owner for an Agile squad, translating business needs into product requirements and priorities.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, and other teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
• Use data and market trends to identify opportunities and guide product decisions.
• Partner with Regulatory and other teams to ensure compliance, security, and risk requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing to drive product adoption and growth.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve metrics and user experience.
• Stay updated on cross-border payments trends to shape product strategy.
• Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders as needed.
