The Product Management Lead is a strategic, high-visibility role, crucial to the company's commercial success: lead a team, drive company-wide transformation and be the critical link between commercial ambition and supply chain reality. Own the end-to-end demand and inventory strategy that directly protects revenue, margin, and working capital across the SKU/brand portfolio - not just keeping stocks in check, but shaping how the business plans, prices, and moves product across every business unit. At the end of the day, it’s a strategy role.
Key Responsibilities and job-related duties required to support business needs include but are not limited to:
- Lead a multi-category SKU portfolio across platforms, prioritizing SKUs that materially contribute to revenue targets.
- Maintain target inventory coverage and availability thresholds for priority SKUs, balancing stock availability, working capital exposure, and obsolescence risk.
- Lead demand planning, inventory forecasting and revenue risk analysis, aligning demand and supply plans with Business, Category, and Supply Chain teams.
- Build and maintain forecasting dashboards that improve visibility into product health, shortages, and supply risks for leadership.
- Deliver real-time inventory insights and reporting to enable proactive decision-making and faster response to supply constraints.
- Drive automation of recurring pricing/inventory processes to reduce manual processing time, with a view to scaling improvements across business units and markets.
- Conduct price benchmarking and parity analysis to inform pricing decisions and improve promotional effectiveness.
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing and other internal teams to align promotions with inventory positions, improving sell-through and conversion.
- Drive strategies for aged or slow-moving inventory to improve turnover.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage backlog, expedite orders, and improve timeliness.
- Act as the key point person among Top Management, Commercial, and other teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
- Standardize inventory and supply-risk reporting across the portfolio.
- Lead product lifecycle management, including end-of-life transitions and new product launches.
- Partner with Commercial/Sales teams on demand-generation initiatives.
- Lead and develop a team, setting priorities, coaching performance, driving capability-building, and supporting succession planning.
- Drive company-wide process improvements related to the function, including collaborating on the ERP replacement project, developing a constantly updated playbook and identifying systemic gaps beyond the immediate portfolio.
