Nordic in Philippines is seeking a quality engineer to own outgoing quality for production parts and drive yield improvements across assembly and test. You will work with global manufacturing lines, suppliers, and customers to turn complex production challenges into measurable gains.
The role requires a degree in a relevant field, 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or related areas, and strong English communication. Expect a collaborative, impact‑driven environment.
This role puts you at the heart of production quality and yield performance, where your work directly safeguards product reliability, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing efficiency. You will own outgoing quality for production parts, drive resolutions for yield excursions and anomalies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across assembly and test—from CP and BP to FT. Working closely with global manufacturing lines, suppliers, and customers, you will combine data‑driven analysis with hands‑on technical judgment to optimize yields, refine test limits, and reduce test time. It’s a high‑impact position for a quality‑focused semiconductor professional who thrives on responsibility, collaboration, and turning complex production challenges into measurable performance gains.
To succeed in this role, you need a strong sense of ownership and accountability, combined with a quality‑driven mindset and the confidence to make sound technical judgments in complex production environments. You are analytical and structured, able to interpret yield data, identify anomalies, and drive fact‑based decisions while remaining calm and decisive under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues, support root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions. A proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset—paired with persistence, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities—will enable you to consistently optimize product quality, yield performance, and production robustness.
