Job summary

MEGA PRIME FOODS INCORPORATED is seeking a Production & Development Supervisor (Packaging) to lead packaging innovation and development projects, driving on-time delivery and high-quality outputs.

You will oversee technical packaging initiatives, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and guide cross-functional teams across Marketing, QA, Production, and Supply Chain to bring new packaging concepts to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of hands-on packaging development experience in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Proven track record of scaling packaged foods from lab to production and retail.
• Deep understanding of packaging materials, processes, QA, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of packaging development initiatives ensuring on-time execution.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Lead testing and evaluation of new packaging materials to improve cost and quality.

About the Role

Are you passionate about innovative packaging, sustainable materials, and bringing new products to life? We are looking for an experienced Production & Development Supervisor (Packaging) to lead our packaging innovation and development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Project Management: Manage a dynamic portfolio of technically complex packaging development initiatives, ensuring on-time execution and technical excellence.
• Quality Assurance & Regulatory Standards: Oversaw technical programs and operating procedures to maintain strict compliance with regulatory requirements, food/product safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• R&D & Material Testing: Lead the evaluation, trial testing, and qualification of next-generation packaging materials to improve functionality, cost efficiency, and quality.
• Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, QA, Production, and Supply Chain, alongside external vendors, to streamline product launches and support corporate innovation strategies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on packaging development experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling and launching packaged food products from lab concepts to full production and retail distribution.
• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, quality testing, and product lifecycle management.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional project management abilities with a proven track record of guiding cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
