Job summary

Kooler Industries Incorporated in the Philippines seeks a Product Development Supervisor (Engineer) to oversee the development and production of new products and improvements. You will lead teams, coordinate with QA, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing to translate market needs into specs, and drive robust product validation.

The role requires a Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial background with 3–5 years of relevant experience and supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in product development, R&D, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Prefer supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience in product design, prototyping, testing, improvement, and validation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, components, and specs.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD/SolidWorks is preferred.
• Willing to conduct site visits, testing, troubleshooting, and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from concept to production for new products and improvements.
• Oversee product improvement focusing on quality, performance, reliability, functionality and cost.
• Supervise Product Development Engineers/Associates; assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Develop and implement product testing and validation procedures; ensure specs are met.
• Provide technical support during pilot runs, trial production, and mass production.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Engineering and suppliers.
• Assist in evaluating costs, materials, and manufacturing requirements; pursue cost reductions.
• Maintain documentation, drawings, BOMs, revision histories, and compliance with standards.
