Job summary

Kooler Industries Incorporated in Quezon City is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to plan, schedule, and oversee the production and repair of products. You will develop and implement plans and work systems to ensure efficient operation of the department, maximize manpower and equipment utilization, and maintain stock levels in coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledgeable in production planning and scheduling.
• In-depth understanding of HVAC/refrigeration assembly processes.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and production efficiency monitoring.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• With at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Willing to work at Quezon City.
• Can start ASAP.

• Formulates, develops, and implements plans, programs, and work systems for the effective and efficient operation of the department.
• Ensures the maximization of manpower and equipment utilization through proper scheduling.
• Ascertains the availability of parts, supplies, materials, and pre-fabricated parts and maintains stock levels in coordination with other departments.
• Reports to immediate superior any problems hindering workflow and proposes timely solutions.
• Monitors and evaluates personnel activities, enforces discipline, and provides counseling as needed.
• Ensures safety rules, good housekeeping, and company policies are observed.
• Practices good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and work area.

Job description

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Production Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing the production and repair of products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Formulates, develops, and implements plans, programs, and work systems for the effective and efficient operation of the department.

• Ensures the maximization of manpower and equipment utilization through proper scheduling.

• Ascertains the availability of parts, supplies, materials, and pre-fabricated parts and sees to it that the required stock level are maintained in close coordination with the concerned departments.

• Reports to immediate superior any problems that may hamper the continuous and efficient flow of work, so that proper solutions may be formulated on time.

• Ensures work progress by monitoring and controlling personnel activities through performance measurement and evaluation, enforcement of discipline, and personnel counseling as needed.

• Ensures that safety rules, proper etiquette, good housekeeping and Company policies are observed at all times.

• Practices good housekeeping procedures on daily tools, equipment, and work area.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
