Job summary

Tonik Bank is seeking a Product Designer to own the design delivery of high-fidelity UI mockups and clickable prototypes. Qualifications

• 5+ years in human-centered product companies.
• 3+ years fintech/finance experience.
• Experience designing on iOS, Android, Mobile Web and Desktop per Design System.
• Proficient with design tools such as Figma and Framer.
• Turn complex problems into simple, engaging experiences.
• Strong UX, visual design, and mobile product thinking.
• Iterate designs based on feedback.
• Collaborate with Design, Product and Engineering in Agile teams.
• Portfolio (website or PDF) required.

As a Product Designer, you’ll own the design delivery (high-fidelity UI mockups and clickable prototypes). You’ll proactively identify UX pain points through user flows and data to drive elegant, scalable solutions while maintaining visual and component consistency across our design system. But most of all, you must have a passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging experiences.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the UI/UX Product Head
• Works closely with product managers and engineers to gather and assess user requirements.
• Visualizes design concepts through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Creates graphic elements for the user interface, such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Constructs navigation buttons and search fields for a seamless user experience.
• Develops User Interface (UI) mockups and prototypes that clearly show site functionality and appearance.
• Generates original graphic designs, including images, sketches, and tables.
• Presents initial design drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identifies and resolves User Experience (UX) issues, such as responsiveness and usability challenges.
• Makes layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Maintains consistency with style standards and guidelines for fonts, colors, and images.

Qualification

• At least 5 years of experience in human-centered product companies. At least 3 years of experience working in finance/banking/fintech.
• Experience designing on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Mobile Web, Desktop) and providing holistic experience according to our Design System
• Highly proficient with design tools (Figma, Framer)
• A passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging experiences.
• Outstanding UX ability, visual design, and product thinking for mobile apps
• Comfort with an iterative design process that includes accepting and acting on feedback
Strong collaboration with other Design Team members, Product Managers, and Engineering in Agile cross-functional teams.
• Experience working at a startup or fintech company, as a plus.
