Job summary

Quess Philippines Corp. is seeking a product professional to drive end-to-end development for SnapMart. You will gather user feedback, lead discovery with engineering and design, and model and launch solutions with strong user adoption.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in product related disciplines (e.g. PM, software dev, QA, UX/UI) or E-commerce/Retail operations.
• Strong ability to lead discovery sessions with engineering and design teams.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Become driver and support in end-to-end development of products; gather user feedback and lead discovery sessions with engineering and design to model and launch a solution.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand problems and objectives validated by data and analytics.
• Define products and features; help prioritize the product backlog with stakeholders.
• Write external and internal product documentation and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Maintain culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Job description

Experience:

At least 1 year in Product related disciplines (i.e. Project Management, Software Development, QA, UX/UI Design), or E-commerce/Retail operations.

Technical Skills:

• Technical Leadership Aptitude: can learn quickly and delve into technical architecture topics and pickup key technical concepts; can communicate well and assert influence, as well as actively listen and reach consensus
• Quick learner, especially with software development lifecycle and scrum framework best practices

Soft Skills:

• Thrives in high-speed execution environments
• Strong communication skills in both persuasion and presentation; fluent in English
• Identify market opportunities and build business cases
• Interest in global eCommerce markets, competition and customer/user requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Become the driver and support in the end-to-end development of products: from gathering feedback from the users to leading the discovery sessions with engineering teams and design teams to model and launch a solution, making sure the builds are highly adopted by users
• Collaborate with the business teams to understand the problems and objectives validated and driven by data and analytics
• Responsible for the definition of the products and features. Helps prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with other stakeholders
• Writes the external and internal facing documentation of products and be responsible for the alignment of solutions with stakeholders
• Collaborate with the commercial, marketing and operations teams to ensure the success of the product launch
• Maintains a culture of excellence, commitment and ownership with good execution and continuous team and self-improvement

Employment Type: 6mos project-based contract subject for extension or absorption depending on performance.
