This role focuses on developing scalable internal systems, architecting relational databases, integrating business applications, and automating workflows across the organization.

Role Description

Single Thread Health is seeking an experienced Product Analyst to design, build, and evolve the internal technology platform that supports our business operations.

This role is focused on developing scalable internal systems, architecting relational databases, integrating business applications, and automating workflows across the organization. You'll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to transform operational requirements into reliable, maintainable, and scalable technology solutions.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys thinking beyond individual features and instead designs systems that improve efficiency, increase data quality, and support long-term organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Systems & Database Architecture

• Architect maintainable, scalable relational databases and data models.


• Evaluate business requirements to recommend and design long-term technical solutions.


• Lead data migrations, schema improvements, and ensure data consistency across systems.

2. Application Development & Automation

• Develop internal operational tools, including dynamic workflows, dashboards, and administrative UIs.


• Build integrations and automate processes using REST APIs, webhooks, and Google Workspace Apps Script.


• Implement robust security, authentication, and error handling for all integrations.


• Maintain, optimize, and scale existing applications as organizational needs evolve.

3. AI & Intelligent Systems

• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions and custom AI bots to automate business tasks.


• Integrate AI capabilities into internal workflows to enhance data analysis and operational efficiency.

4. Technical Strategy & Software Standards

• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code (JavaScript, Backend scripting).


• Evaluate new technologies, define architectural best practices, and identify opportunities for process optimization.

Qualifications

—Required—

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.


• Advanced experience designing and developing internal business applications and operational platforms.


• Expertise with Coda.io, including relational database design, formulas, automations, buttons, Packs, and the Coda REST API.


• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), Google Apps Script, asynchronous programming, and backend scripting.


• Experience designing relational databases, data models, schema architecture, and data migrations.


• Proven experience building and maintaining secure REST API integrations, including authentication, OAuth, webhooks, pagination, and error handling.


• Experience developing solutions within Google Workspace, including Apps Script and the Drive, Docs, Gmail, Calendar, and Sheets APIs.


• Experience designing, building, and deploying AI-powered workflows, custom AI bots, or intelligent automation solutions using Claude or similar LLM platforms.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

• Experience architecting enterprise-scale operational platforms or complex internal business systems.


• Experience building scalable tools for healthcare, health technology, or other regulated industries.


• Strong SQL skills and experience with reporting, analytics, and data transformation.


• Experience integrating multiple SaaS platforms and enterprise business applications.


• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.


• Experience developing and deploying production AI agents or conversational AI solutions.


• Knowledge of workflow automation platforms and low-code/no-code technologies.


• Experience designing role-based permissions, governance models, and secure access controls.


• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, serverless architectures, or backend services.


• Experience establishing development standards, mentoring technical team members, or leading technical initiatives.
