Spinneys Philippines is seeking a Produce Butcher / Vegetable Butcher to join our supermarket team. The role involves preparing, cutting, and presenting fresh fruits and vegetables while upholding high standards of quality, freshness, hygiene, and food safety.

The successful candidate will work with the fresh produce team, follow FIFO procedures, and maintain proper labeling, storage, and rotation of produce. Availability for shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fruit and vegetable preparation or fresh produce handling.
• Knowledge of cutting techniques and knife handling.
• Ability to identify fresh produce and maintain quality.

Responsabilités

• Wash, peel, trim, slice and dice fruits and vegetables per standards.
• Prepare produce for retail display, packaging, and ready-to-eat items.
• Maintain freshness, quality, and presentation of produce.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and FIFO.
