Angkas is seeking a Procurement Supervisor in the Philippines to lead supplier performance, procurement processes, and cost-saving initiatives. The role oversees the procurement team and end-to-end purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-efficient sourcing of goods and services across the Manila hub.

The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies while supporting business growth and operations across hybrid

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Knowledge of vendor sourcing and supplier evaluation.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Understanding of procurement procedures and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full procurement lifecycle including sourcing, vendor and stakeholder management per SLAs.
• Generate and review specs, quotes, and quotes; conduct site inspections and processing payments.
• Track orders and ensure on-time delivery; maintain internal databases with vendor details.
• Research potential vendors and evaluate offers; compare and select best options.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and meet targets set by management.
• Participate in training and development programs and take on related projects as needed.

Now, we're looking for a Procurement Supervisor, will play a crucial role in setting up the foundations in making this happen - from managing supplier performance, procurement processes, and stakeholder requirements while driving cost savings, process improvements, and compliance with company policies to overseeing the procurement team and end-to-end purchasing activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of goods and services.

• Managing a full procurement process which includes sourcing and managing of vendors and stakeholders according to SLAs, creating and reviewing spec sheets and quotes, site inspections, payment processing, etc.
• General work reporting.
• Miscellaneous tasks needed within the Procurement team.
• Research potential vendors.
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Achieve or exceed targets and other key objectives assigned by your Immediate Manager
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Accept other associated responsibilities and projects as the need arises..

• Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role;
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors);
• Strong Negotiation skills;
• BS in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field;
• Understanding of procurement procedures.
